About Semityn Journal
Semityn Journal is an independent blog about SEO and digital marketing for small businesses. We write plain, practical guides: how to get found on Google, what paid ads really cost, how to build links without getting a site penalised, and which tools are worth paying for.
Most marketing advice online is either too vague to use or written to sell you something. We try to do the opposite. Every guide should leave you with something you can actually do this week, and if a tactic is risky or a tool is overpriced, we say so.
Who writes here

Mudasser
SEO and digital marketing, 5 years
Mudasser has spent the last five years working hands-on in SEO and digital marketing: keyword research, on-page and technical SEO, content planning and link building for small businesses. He writes and edits the guides on Semityn Journal and keeps them updated when Google changes its rules.
What we cover
- SEO: technical fixes, local SEO, on-page work and safe link building.
- PPC and search marketing: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and how to keep costs under control.
- Content marketing: planning, writing and updating content that brings in customers.
- Social media and IT services for growing businesses.
How we write and update guides
Prices, salaries and statistics are checked against their original source (Google’s own documentation, official pricing pages, Clutch, Indeed and similar) and linked so you can check them yourself. We don’t invent case studies, reviews or results. When a guide goes out of date, we update it rather than publish a new one on the same topic.
If we publish a sponsored article or work with a partner, the article is clearly labelled, and any paid links in it carry Google’s rel="sponsored" attribute. Our recommendations are never for sale.
Tools and services
Alongside the blog we offer a free SEO cost calculator, and for businesses that would rather have help than do it themselves, we offer SEO, content and digital PR services.
